We are a not for profit organization dedicated to
driving, camping, and preserving Type II's.
Every year is a good year for the notorious DBG because we liven up
camping events and shows wherever we go!!
The
VW microbus
(1949-
1979) was picked #39 in Road and Track's 100 best cars of last 100 years.
They say: "A true
minivan, a three row family vehicle with the same 94.5" wheelbase as the
Beetle. Midway in its life it got commandeered by the flower generation and
hasn't been the same since."
As we in the
DBG say:
"we all grow
up eventually and buy buses!"
